Daily Ways to Nurture Yourself and Peace of Mind
    (Part 3 of 3)

    By Denise Michaels

Take a bubble bath with candles and soothing music.

    Go to bed extra early.

Buy a pair of pretty, soft, comfy jammies - and wear them.

Spend a solid 10 minutes before going to bed putting on all your moisturizers and stuff that you buy but often don't take time to use. Be girl-y on purpose. Put the stuff on your hands, too. In a couple days you’ll really start noticing how much softer your skin is when you wake up in the morning.

Meditate or pray. Don’t get to specific or controlling about the “form” or “way” that you want things to show up. God or Spirit is much more open-minded and infinite in his/her thinking – so don’t limit yourself.

Learn about Feng Shui. Start doing little Feng Shui fixes to your home and workspace. You will feel better and get what you want more quickly and effortlessly.

Buy yourself flowers. Go to a Farmers Market where they're an inexpensive indulgence.

Think about what you want to be in the future. Start saying that's what you are. It's not "fake it till you make it" it's "practise the future." You'll start stepping into that role as your new reality.

Go to services at a church, temple or synagogue. Don't gripe about how everyone is probably a hypocrite. Really listen to the message of the sermon or talk by the clergy person. A couple types of guilt free churches? Unity and Religious Science.

Go to a gym and workout. Take a yoga class. Make a habit of exercise. Increase a little bit every week. Gradually build up to 4-5 days a week.

Give up crappy food. Stuff that adds no nutrtional value like white flour, deep fried anything, white rice, pasta, french fries. It's all poison. Gradually clean up your body. You'll gradually start feeling more energy and less mood swings.

If you eat dairy or meat products buy 'em from a whole foods market with no hormones or antibiotics. Find out more at http://www.themeatrix.com

When you indulge - do it "on purpose." Go out with friends and order one decadent dessert with four spoons. Or, eat a half cup serving of Haagen Dasz. Savor it- make it last for 15 minutes. Repeat with Godiva chocolate. *wink* Little indulgences - make 'em last.

    Hope this list is helpful.
